Associate Professor Rebecca Hodder is a NHMRC Early Career Research Fellow and Program Manager at the University of Newcastle and Hunter New England Population Health with over 18 years’ experience in the implementation and evaluation of chronic disease prevention programs in children.

Associate Professor Hodder leads a series of studies at the National Centre of Implementation Science identifying international and national evidence-practice gaps in school-based health and wellbeing programs. She also leads a series of living systematic reviews to identify and improve the implementation of effective health and wellbeing programs in children and adolescents.

Associate Professor Hodder holds positions as the Deputy Director of the HMRI Population Health Research Program, Executive Member of the Australasian Society of Behavioural Health and Medicine, and International Society of Behavioural Medicine, and Research Lead at the National Centre of Implementation Science.

Associate Professor Hodder has a particular interest and is a global leader living evidence synthesis and is a Cochrane Public Health Research Associate.
