Bolaji Samson Aregbeshola is a PhD candidate in public health and behavioral sciences in the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
His research interests are in health behavior, tobacco control, alcohol control, chronic disease prevention, impact evaluation, health policy, health care financing, health insurance, health systems, health economics, health management, access to care, quality of health care, economic evaluation, infectious diseases, maternal and child health, mixed methods, econometric analysis, and randomized controlled trials.
His doctoral research focuses on the impact of vocation and workplace on tobacco and alcohol use.
Prior to joining the School of Medicine and Public Health, Bolaji was an independent public health researcher in Nigeria.
He also previously worked as a health care representative in the pharmaceutical industry in Nigeria for seven years. He holds a Master of Science degree in Public Health as well as a Bachelor of Science (Education) degree in Biology from the University of Lagos.
