Fatemeh is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering undertaking a joint research project between the University of Newcastle and the University of Sydney, Australia. Her research focuses on the design and development of advanced three-dimensional (3D) printed biomaterial scaffolds for stem cell-based tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
She holds a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, where her research centered on hydrogel-based scaffolds incorporating supramolecular structures for controlled drug delivery and tissue engineering applications. Her academic background combines expertise in biomaterials, polymer science, additive manufacturing, and cell–material interactions.
Her current research aims to develop functional 3D printed scaffolds that provide a supportive microenvironment for stem cell growth, differentiation, and tissue regeneration.
