Publication of a commissioned report for the NSW Ministry of Health, and co-authoring reports for the Mitchell Institute and the Australian Health Policy Collaboration
Partnered with leading organisations including the Cancer Institute NSW and the NSW Get Healthy Coaching and Information Service to evaluate and improve population health services
Hosted co-development workshops with health and education departments, NGOs and academics nationally to address issues related to youth vaping

Dr Kate Bartlem is an NHMRC Early Career Fellow at the National Centre of Implementation Science, University of Newcastle.

Her career has focused on improving the physical health and wellbeing of disadvantaged population groups, with a focus on behavioural health risks, implementation science, and improving access to and quality of preventive health care.

Dr Bartlem’s current work focuses on prevention and cessation of e-cigarette use amongst youth, and the interaction between physical health and mental wellbeing among a variety of populations.
